| * Celebrate Canada Day with a Special Canadian Cuisine Explorer!
"What is Canadian cuisine?
It's a good question, and not an easy one to answer. The clues are to be found in our kitchens at home, and in the recipes of our country's wonderfully talented chefs.
"Like Canada itself, Canadian recipes are big or small, chilly or hot, liberal or conservative! We enjoy a cultural mosaic that has been thriving for seven generations and our recipes reflect that. Historically, Canadians have taken what the land offers, adapting traditional recipes to create new-world meals with old-world flair.
"We make some of the finest cheeses and wines available. Our wheat produces exceptional pastas and breads, and the multitude of vegetables and grains grown here create the world's largest, most diverse collection of foods." ~ From the Oh! Canada website.
For more information on the restaurant and to view the menu, go to: www.ohcanadarestaurant.ca/alacarte.html **Please note: CCC policy is to add 25% (20% gratuity + 5% GST) to the bill.
