Thanks for allowing me to introduce you to a new author. We compared this one with the previous author which I intended. Michael Jecks is a darker read than Ellis Peters and you can see the generational differences both in the ages of the author and when these first books were written (1970s vs 1990s). Perhaps there's also a gender and professional background difference coming through. Our discussion ranged well beyond the borders of the book but I enjoyed the afternoon and the company very much. I look forward to doing this again and I hope you can join me.
